Upon arrival for a treatment, we’ll discuss your goals, then you’ll lie fully clothed on a massage table under a cozy blanket and eye-pillow. We may guide you through a meditation to help you relax, followed by using safe-touch hand positions on or above various body areas, excluding the chest, and more intimate regions. Reiki has been said to aid in recovery from surgery, pain relief, stress reduction, addiction release, rest, relaxation, muscle tension relief, anxiety, depression, grief recovery, major life transitions, chakra alignment, auric field strengthening, vitality and creativity enhancement, and intuitive ability increase. Each person’s experience varies, with some feeling warmth and relaxation, emotional release, or profound insights, and most achieving a deep sense of peace and calm. After the session, we'll reflect on your experience over a cup of tea and identify strategies for maintaining well-being. Reiki activates the healing process, helping you regain physical, mental, and emotional balance. Maintenance of this growth is all that is left to you.

Don't live near us? No problem. Distant treatments are available for those unable to travel or concerned about in-person meetings due to health issues. Reiki, as energy, transcends space and time, so physical proximity isn’t necessary for it to work. You will experience the same benefits as an in-person session. While we can send Reiki without seeing you, we prefer holding distant sessions via video conference to include guided meditations and reflections. Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted for about an hour. Make it sacred: light a candle or incense, add your favorite essence to a diffuser, and get cozy under a blanket with an eye mask. we’ll provide the music. The session will proceed much like an in-person treatment.

Yogic Sleep: Nidra, the 5th limb of Yoga, is the ancient practice of achieving a conscious state of awareness in deep relaxation, reminding us that we can intentionally create our reality across all states of consciousness: waking, dreaming, deep sleep, and the awakened state. Yoga Nidra guides you through a journey back to the you who is the observer of this experience we call life. It helps you realize that this observer is always awake and present. Plainly, it is a guided meditation practice that aims to induce a deep state of relaxation, similar to sleep, but with maintained awareness. It puts the body to rest while allowing the consciousness to stay alert, accessing the Alpha brainwave state between waking and dreaming, where the subconscious mind can resolve issues more easily. Yoga Nidra aids in trauma resolution, rest, and holistic alignment—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—training the mind just as we train the body.
